Leighbridge Junior Football Club were established in 1994. We currently have 10 teams in 6 age groups (Under 8's, 9's, 10s, 11s, 12's and 15s). All our teams have enjoyed success over the years and the leagues on each age groups page show our current positions in our respective leagues. Find out more about each team using the buttons on the left of this page. Use the links at the top of the page for a list of current officials (including contact details) and also to enquire about joining one of our teams. Latest News
Due to weather conditions we weren't able to start the 100 club when we first stated. But we are happy to announce that the first draw will take place on February 5th and every week from there on. The winning number will be posted up in this section of the website along with snowball pot amount, also we still have some tickets available to enter the 100 club so it is not too late to enter for your chance to win a big cash prize every week.

Fundraising
Building from the succesful fundraising match we had in December last year we are hoping to repeat that success and build on it with including a race day afterwards, a date has not been confirmed as of yet although we are looking at March as the time to do it. It will include a mini tournament of 11 a side teams starting around 11:00 or 12:00 and following on with a race day later in the afternoon.

Charter Standard Club
Leighbridge JFC have been awarded The FA Charter Standard. This is in recognition of the high levels of professionalism employed in the running of our club. Click on the logo on the left to find more information on the criteria for this award. Below is a brief summary from the FA website of the aims of the standard.
"The Charter Standard Scheme is best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Football League and Premier League. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all."
Coaching Schools
We recently ran a very successful coaching school for kids age 5 to 11, at Botanic Park, Wavertree. These schools helped us recruit numerous players which resulted in the formation of several new teams who are playing their second season in the Edge hill Junior football League.
These schools were run in conjunction with Merseyside Police, Liverpool City Council, LMH, and LHT. For more info please e-mail the club Child Welfare Officer, Paul Gresty. It is hoped that we will be running more Coaching Schools in the near future, please check back soon for details on future events.
