Leighbridge
Junior Football Club were established in 1994. We currently have 6 teams in 4 age
groups (Under 10s, Under 13s, 3 at Under 14s and an Under 16s). All our teams
have enjoyed success over the years and the leagues to the left show our current
positions in our respective leagues. Find out more about each team using the
buttons on the left of this page. Use the links at the top to see club reports,
a list of current officials (including contact details). Click the 'Sign Up' link
and send us your details if you would like to join the team for the 2009-10
season, you MUST get your parents permission before you submit your information.

Leighbridge
JFC have been awarded The FA Charter Standard. This is in recognition of the
high levels of professionalism employed in the running of our club. Click on the
logo on the left to find more information on the criteria for this award. Below
is a brief summary from the FA website of the aims of the standard.
"The Charter
Standard Scheme is best practice guide that sets standards of coaching,
administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Football League
and Premier League. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing
experience for all."
We
are currently running a number of coaching schools for kids age 5 to 11.
Sessions last for about 90 minutes and take place at Botanic Park, Wavertree.
These schools are run in conjunction with Merseyside Police and Liverpool City Council. For more info please e-mail the club Child Welfare Office, Paul Gresty. Alternatively just turn up with your kids at 11:00am on Saturday mornings at the Pavilion and ask for Paul.
Our

giving young people a positive and constructive activity to focus their energy.
We foster a strong team ethic and promote individual responsibility.

We
are pleased to acknowledge the support provided by Liverpool City Council
Neighbourhood Management Services. The funding they have given to Leighbridge
has enabled us to continue our coaching schools by providing training and safety
equipment.
These
